The complete evidence workflow. In the palm of your hand.
Log evidence details, capture images and video, create container labels, track digital chain of custody, and build the evidence table—all in one app.
Log the evidence
Digital chain of custody at every step.
Built for the whole evidence chain
- Patrol officers and detectives
- Crime scene units
- Forensic laboratories
- Property and evidence rooms
01 Log evidence
Every detail,
captured at the scene.
Record evidence details, capture images, print a container label, and log the exact location once, right where the item was found, even without a signal. Records sync when you reconnect; custody transfers require a connection.
02 Capture images
Every angle.
Connected to the evidence.
Distant, mid-range, close-up.
Each image stays with the item it documents.

0001 One item. Three linked images.
03 Evidence table
Your collection.
One evidence table.
Evidence details, collection times, packaging, images, and status are captured as the work happens, then organized automatically. Share or print the evidence table on scene.

04 Digital chain of custody
Scan the label.
Record the handoff.
Relinquish and receive evidence with a QR scan. Each handoff records the person, date, and time while keeping the item details, images, and complete history together.
Built on patented digital chain-of-custody technology. U.S. Patent Nos. 10,198,676 and 10,281,367, held by SampleCSI's parent company, SampleServe, Inc.

Built for evidence that has to hold up.
Encrypted in transit and at rest. Role-based access. An append-only audit log of every action, edit, and custody transfer. U.S.-only data storage, on a platform separate from SampleServe's environmental systems. Alignment with the FBI CJIS Security Policy is an implementation target.
- Biometric sealing. The collector confirms with Face ID or fingerprint when the label prints, creating the legal sealing moment.
- Tamper verification. Images and files are checked for changes after capture.
- Two-person workflow. Record who found an item and who collected it, separately.
